About

Hannah Stitfall is a Wildlife TV Presenter for BBC The One show, BBC Earth and BBC Springwatch. She is an established Wildlife Filmmaker and Producer with a First Class Degree in Zoology and a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking.

Hello and welcome to my tiny part of the internet! My name is Hannah and I’m a wildlife filmmaker, presenter and producer who likes to dabble with photography (although I’ll leave that up the experts!) I have been working professionally in the wildlife filmmaking industry since 2018. Not very long in the big scheme of things, but in this short time I have been incredibly lucky to have worked with some of the most inspiring conservationists, brands and channels in the business, and believe me when I say, I still pinch myself everyday!

Having an ardent need to protect our natural world, after graduating with a first class degree in Zoology the path into communicating wildlife issues was natural. If you have found your way here to my website no doubt we think alike that protecting and conserving our wildlife, ecosystems, habitats and natural processes isn’t just a hobby - it is our duty.

Having specialised in the illegal wildlife trade online and animal exploitation during university investigative wildlife journalism is something very close to my heart. After this I then went on to complete a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking on the prestigious course ran by the University of West England, Bristol. I also believe that reaching out to new audiences is imperative to wildlife conservation and over the years I have experimented with different channels, different media and different brands, always with the same goal: reaching someone that maybe doesn't care about our natural world.

This may be through my social media channels (which you can find here) through my filmmaking, TV, radio, writing, charity work or public speaking - each are equally as important. And if I manage to change just one persons mind towards wildlife conservation in my life then I will be happy.

So whether you're here because you already follow me on social media, have seen one of my films or you have randomly stumbled onto my website, hello and welcome! I hope you enjoy the site and look forward to speaking soon, unless I’m out in some damp soggy field filming wildlife or cliff hiking the Cornish Coast where I live with my dog Isabelle, then I will get back to you asap!

With love

Hannah
